endless lit streets and paper cranes

I swear everyone i know is either falling in love, falling out of love, running from love, running to love and dealing with love. Like i said, International Relationship month.

Anyway.

Went to town with Singyi today. Fun as usual =)

We went to Cine first to buy tickets to The Da Vinci Code and quelle surprise, the earliest available movie was 6.35 and that was just a few seats within the font two rows. And the lady told us it was going to be pretty much the same until 11. Like id stay in town until 11 just for a good seat in a movie.

So we got the 6.35 tickets and bummed around town. Fuel first of course. SUBWAY. Mmmm! Just give me my laptop, unlimited access to books and SUBWAY and im set for life. Lol.

Then we went to Kino to get the latest Gossip Girl book. Im reading it as i speak. We spent two hours in kino looking through everything. Very very cool. lol. I even bought this divination deck. Its supah cute.

Then we headed back to cine and went to TCC for munchies. We each had a mango freeze thing and a some chilli beef soup. OMG. it.was.like.heaven. The place rocks, i totally recommend it. The ambience is good and the food rocks. They put it as much effort into the visuals of it as much as the taste.

Then MOOOOOVIE. I LOVE THE DA VINCI CODE.

Ok so i wouldnt say its the most amazing movie of the year and gush like a ninny but it was defninitely a good watch. Worth paying for. The director is a genius. I especially like the last bit where revelation hits Robert and the music swells where he kneels at the Lourve. A.m.a.z.i.n.g. And i love how the movie wasnt rushed so even if people didnt read the book, you can more or less grasp what's going on.

Then we got greedy again and went to coffee bean at wheelocks place but would you believe it, FULL. So we went to the coffee bean at Taka. We placed our orders at around 9.45 and after we paid, the fella at the counter told us they were closing at 10.

WTH?! If you're going to freaking close at 10, why even bother selling FOOD? Is it fair that we have to rush down our meal and risk like, choking to death just because you want to earn a little bit? And it wasnt as if we were ordering some 10 course meal or whatever. Urg. And food takes time to prepare, hello?

Today, i learnt the meaning of the phrase, "bolt down your meal".

By the time we left, the whole of taka was like, dark so we had to walk one biiiiiiig round to get back to wisma atria. The walking was good though, i felt freaking bloated.

Im definitely going to run tomorrow or something. I can feel the calories slowly spreading their way around my body and puffing me up. Lol i have a vivid imagination luh.

I feel so contented, and i didnt even buy any clothes!

ha. off to read Gossip Girl now. xD
