Had another amazing day out with my friends.
Met up with Singyi and Steve at 4 and we went to Fort Canning to look for some fella's grave. but we couldnt find it, either cause he wasnt buried there and Steve screwed up the location or he was buried somewhere really hard to find.
*shrugs*

passed by this really freaky looking entrace. wouldnt dare go near it at night.

we climbed up this really steep slope cause i was too lazy to walk back to the steps. faster lah.
But we saw alot of other tombstones and other grand looking marble graves. Apparently the area we were in was the old Christian cemetery. It was kinda eerie but yet, there was something about the graves that made me feel stragely calm and kinda sad for the deceased. Weird weird.
We had our tea on some flat piece of green carper in the middle of a field behind the fort canning centre that i reckoned was supposed to look like grass.

Yay colourful.
We were planning to stay there until nightfall and then walk to the esplanade but them BOOM. thunder. faster chao before we kanna caught in the rain in the middle of no where with no shelter.

Super cool! ok i know its been around for quite awhile but so exciting. we took pics. rofl. waste money i know.
Walked the Citilink mall to Suntec. Bought this really flashy cap with gold trimmings. Looks damn diva. Lol. Singyi bought a cap too. Very zen and mod chic. gonna wear it in Genting.
Sat at Suntec's starbucks.

Ate there too. I loved the chamomile tea.
Got hungry so we went to look for food. Settled for fries and ice cream at Swensons.

ya lah major calories. but i got to see steve eat! accomplishment!
Then we got bored and walked to Marina Square and ditched the Esplanade idea cause it had rained and the floor was all wet.
Walked around Marina and when we passed by Sakae, we noticed some of the seats were those sunken into the ground and Singyi got excited and we decided to chill there cause there was no other cafe we really wanted to sit in.
Must eat right, so we ate as little sushi as possible without seeming like all we wanted to do was sit. which was actually the whole idea.
but we didnt get the floor seats. got a booth but it was just as good. Steve was totally cracking us up with his faces. Damn funny fella.
Then we left at around 11.15 hoping to catch the last train but we dwaddled too long and ended up having to take a cab. tried 3 different taxi stands and all damn damn packed. so we ended up walking along the road of c.h.i.m.e.s hoping to hail a cab. lucky we did. 100% faster than if we had waited at the taxi stand. hey, the indie way isnt bad!
it was one of those you-had-to-be-there funny moments. the way we were thinking, like looking for gold on an island. funny shit. very every man for himself moment. ahh.. sounds drama but yeah, you had to be there. xD
Psyched for tomorrow. Bible studies and service! felt like i havent gone to church in damn long and i feel lousy. yes, cant wait!
I love you Jesus! Pretty psyched for next week too!
